Just this past week, on October 4th, a 40-year-old Asian man was physically attacked in Manhattan, New York. The suspect, later found from the obtainment of camera footage to be around his 20s with short black hair, approached him while yelling racial slurs moments after the man left his parked car around 1:15pm. Relentless, the suspect then proceeded to approach and attack physically. Choked and punched, the Asian man was left with injuries on both his face and neck.

The police have not made any arrests at this point. However, they are on the search to investigate the case and to find the suspect. Occurrences spurred from racism and hate like this, as evidently seen in the victim’s conditions, can happen anywhere, anytime, for any reason or no reason at all. Upon these occasions, it is vital that help is reachable and reached immediately. It is urged that anyone with any information regarding this suspect’s whereabouts call the NYPD Crime Stoppers at the number: (800) 577-TIPS.
